Meet the team!

Anthony Bimonte Sr.

Owner

Originally from Iowa, Tony has been a long time resident of Tampa Bay. He founded A&D Automotive Center in 2003 after working in the automotive industry since he was 16 years old and having a passion for cars since as early as he can remember. He is a proud father, a loving husband, and an active member of the community. His passions include: being an active member of the Tampa Rough Riders, participating in Teddy Bear Runs and other charity events for the community, traveling, and cooking. For the past 10+ years he has cooked the A&D crew lunch on Friday's, and many of our customer will attest - if you're here you're getting some lunch too!

Andrew Barba

Service Manager

Andrew was born in New York and has been living in Florida since 2003 (the same year we were established!) and loves to spend time with his wife and son. He is also an active member of the Tampa Rough Riders and loves participating in the various charity events they do every year. He is an Army Veteran who supports various wounded veteran organizations, especially Tunnel to Towers Foundation. In his free time he enjoys watching automotive technology videos, going to Disney with his family, and trying new foods. Another fun fact - we could stack up 3 other employees in an eating competition and Andrew would beat them all, guaranteed!

David Cohen

Shop Foreman

David was also born in New York but spent the majority of his life in the central Florida area. He is a proud father, husband, and when we say automotive repairs run in his blood - we mean it! His mother is a retired mechanic so it's only natural he followed suit. As corny as it may seem, his passions include studying automotive technologies and reading theories of operation on new systems in his pass time. On a normal week he spends around 10-15 hours reading automotive case studies, watching training videos, or taking automotive training classes... for fun. He doesn't refer to himself as a technician. In his own words he's a "Problem Solver".

Pedro Marcos

Technician

Sebastien Walker

Cuban born, a true American at heart. Pedro came to the Florida when he was 16 years old. He is our heavy-line technician and enjoys doing engine and transmission replacements. In his spare time he love hanging out by the pool or watching anything related to politics (and talking about it all day if you let him). Although his English has gotten worse over the years, his heart is still as pure as ever and he is genuinely the kind of person to stop on the side of the road to help someone in need of assistance anytime he can.

Technician

Born right here in Hillsborough County, "Seabass" is our general maintenance technician who always goes above and beyond to provide top notch service. He is a new proud father, husband, and also hails from a family of technicians (his dad pictured behind him and his wife worked for A&D Automotive almost 20 years ago!). From his Sponge Bob socks to his qwerty personality, he is about as eccentric as they come. But when it comes to learning and growing his skills as an automotive technician he is in the top of his field. In his free time if he's not watching Sponge Bob he's playing with his new baby or working on his race car.

Doug Warren

Technician

Doug was born in Italy while his family was stationed there and has spent the majority of his life in the states. He is a proud father, husband, and avid sports collector. He's worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years and is our go to Domestic specialist. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his wife and support the local sports teams. From collecting base ball cards to watching a Tampa Bay Lightning game, if it's sports related he's passionate about it!

Gary Peters

Born in Michigan, Gary is new to the Tampa Bay area but fell in love once he realized he would never need to shovel snow again! He loves going to concerts and is also an avid sports fanatic. In his spare time outside of playing hockey himself he watches whatever games are playing. From baseball to football, and everything in between - he loves sports. His favorite teem is the Red Wings but don't let that fool you, he loves the Tampa Bay Lightning and goes to every game he can!

Service Advisor

Nicknamed "Tuesday" (which we can only assume was given to him on a Tuesday? *Origins unknown*) he is a retired United States Army soldier who's been working in the automotive industry for over 20 years. He's a proud father, husband, and one of those people you could call at 2am with car troubles and know he would show up to help (that's if he heard the phone ring of course). As you can tell from the photo he's not very photogenetic, but don't let that take away from the fact that his work quality is second to none. In his spare time he loves to fish and get out on the water.

Ray Perry

Deven Henderson

Customer Service

Nicknamed "Doppelgänger" because he looks a lot like Sebastien (fun fact, they are brother-in-laws), Deven is new to the automotive industry and like a sponge is really soaking up all the knowledge he can. His passions include watching anime, learning about computer technologies, and studying the Bible. He is strong in his faith and loves talking to people about it.

Luis Ramos

Technician

Luis has worked for A&D Automotive since 2015 and is very passionate about the automotive industry. Another one who's not very photogenetic (we had to take this photo during his lunch break), he is a proud father and husband. In his free time he also loves anime, spending time with his family, and working on project cars. He has project car's that are older than some of his children if that tells you how passionate he is about building it perfect!
